The Iowa City Public Library is a very nice library, which Kristin and I have both been enjoying immensely. This, in combination with our more relaxed lifestyle, with no kids to care for, no lawn to mow, no home maintenance to perform, has provided much more leisure time that can be spent on such pastimes as reading. I used to do a fair amount of recreational reading in my early life, but that diminished and pretty much went away as life got busy and bigger responsibilities took priority. But now I am getting back into the books and enjoying them immensely.
