Ice Age Trail - August 2020

Like many people in March of 2020, I experienced a rapid transition to working at home due to Covid. And like many people, although I enjoyed the work-at-home experience, I needed to get out.

After some searching for just the right place, I decided on a 3-day hike through the Chequamegon National Forest on the Ice Age Trail in central Wisconsin. This was a 43 mile jaunt, starting at the east end of the Mondeaux Esker segment, and ending at the west end of the Lake Eleven segment. The trail is beautiful, and I had a great time! I hope you enjoy these pictures from that trip. (And BTW, Lake Eleven is definitely "louder"!)
