Kristin and I have a tradition of taking a weekend camping trip in late October / early November, and this year was no different. We usually opt for a state park, but this year we decided to go back to Decorah to camp in Pulpit Rock Campground for the first time ever. It was an opportunity to visit with friends, and to get a chance to see some of the kids, who we hadn't seen since we moved to Ely. We arrived Friday afternoon and left on Sunday, and lucked out with perfect weather all weekend (although Friday night was pretty cold!).

The pictures below are all from Saturday. Our friend Deb came during the day with Kenny for a hike in the Twin Springs park. Later in the day Karl, Laura and DJ came to hang out with us for awhile and we had a fine dinner of Mabe's Pizza. The last picture is of Archie waiting for us to let him into the tent to go to sleep - he was a pooped puppy after all the hiking and running around!
