We've been biding our time since getting off the trail, hanging out at Kristin's folks until our camper is is ready. That time has come: we'll be getting the camper next week and heading to our first camping spot. Although the time here with Kristin's folks has generally been pretty low key, we've actually kept rather busy, starting with James and Emma's wedding in mid-June.

We attended some high-school and college graduation parties; traveled to Sioux Falls to get our South Dakota residency and driver's licenses; spent time with Kristin's siblings on various outings, including dog walks, attending The Jason Show and going to a Twins game (which I missed due to illness). I attended the celebration of life for my late friend John. To cap it all off, we went to Grand Marais this past week.
